A Home for Women to Rebuild their Lives with Jesus Christ
The Mercy House for Women is an entity of Restoring Hearts Ministries of Trenton providing discipleship housing for women recovering from homelessness, addiction, abuse and human trafficking.
Restoring Hearts Ministries of Trenton is a non-denominational Christian crisis and evangelism ministry that has been serving men and women struggling in homelessness, addiction, abuse and human trafficking in the Mercer County, NJ area for over 10 years.
We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save, heal and transform every life.
Throughout the week, we minister to the city of Trenton through our outreach response caravan, food pantry, Bible studies, Church transportation, Code Blue outreaches, city crisis response and discipleship recovery homes.
ABOUT RHM
The RHM Mercy House for Women is a long-term Christian discipleship, recovery and residential program that deals with the spiritual, emotional, and physical issues women have faced living on the street.
The Mercy House began as a response to a gap in the combined residential & recovery services available for women struggling in the double-edged sword of homelessness and addiction.
The wounds of abuse, addiction, sexual exploitation and the other traumas from living on the street AND the traumas that brought our ladies to the street, take time and ongoing support to heal. A healing that only Jesus can do!
The purpose of the home is to create a holistic, safe and stable refuge, a home of love and truth, where women can leave behind unhealthy coping mechanisms and survival modes to heal, transform, grow and rebuild their lives on the foundation that is Christ.
